Why a Telegram bot instead of another reminder app

Telegram is already open on your phone and your desktop, its notifications are the ones you have not muted, and a bot chat is just another conversation in the list. A reminder app is one more icon to install, one more set of notification permissions, and one more place to check.

Limits worth knowing

Telegram bot links cannot prefill a message the way WhatsApp links can, so on this site the Try on Telegram button opens the chat and you type the first message yourself. Voice notes are being rolled out; today a voice note is saved by its caption. Reminders are delivered on the channel you set them on.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Stashy is a Telegram bot, so it is a chat in your existing Telegram app on phone and desktop. Open t.me/getstashybot, press Start, and send your first message.

Can it remind me about a message I forwarded from another chat?

Yes. Forward the message to Stashy, then say when you want the reminder. The reminder is linked to that forwarded message and arrives with its title.

Can I see and manage my reminders?

Ask “what reminders do I have?” in the chat to see what is coming up. Reminders are set, listed, and answered in the same conversation.

Does the reminder include the file or screenshot itself?

The reminder carries the title of the memory it is linked to, for example “about: Acme invoice, ₹4,800”, so you know what it is without opening anything. Files are never resent in reminders. Ask Stashy for the file in the same chat and it finds it.

Does it work with WhatsApp too?
