Get reminded

Reminders that arrive with the thing they were about.

A reminder that says “dentist tomorrow” is only half a reminder. What time, which room, and where is the message that said so? Stashy links a reminder to what you saved, offers one when it spots a date, repeats it if you ask, and lets you manage it all by text in the same chat.

A reminder, start to finish

Contextual reminders

This is the feature Stashy is built around. You save something, then within a few minutes you say when you want to be reminded about it. Stashy reads “remind me about this”, “nudge me on the 20th”, or “pay this on Friday” as referring to what you just sent and attaches the reminder to that memory. When it arrives, it carries that memory’s title, for example “about: Acme invoice #2291, ₹4,800”.

Files and screenshots are never resent inside reminders. The title is enough to know what it is; ask for the original in the same chat and Stashy finds it.

Stashy offers the reminder when it spots a date

When what you save has a due date in it, such as a bill, a deadline, a booking, an event, a subscription, or something you committed to, Stashy asks: “Saved rent increase due 20 Oct. Want me to remind you?” Reply yes and it is set for that date. Reply with a different time and it uses yours. Say no and nothing is scheduled.

Reminders are always yours to set. Sending an invoice never creates one on its own.

Recurring reminders

Say it the way you would to a person: “remind me every Monday at 9am to check invoices”, “every weekday at 8”, “on the 1st of every month”, “every year on 14 Feb”. Stashy sets daily, weekly on the days you name, monthly, and yearly reminders, and each occurrence arrives in the same chat.

Managing reminders by text

“What reminders do I have?” lists what is coming up. When a reminder arrives, reply “done” to close it or “snooze” to have it come back later. Everything is set, listed, and answered in the one conversation, with no app to open.

Timezones

Stashy keeps a timezone for you and confirms reminder times in it. Tell it “my timezone is Dubai” to change it. If a time you give is ambiguous, Stashy asks rather than guessing.

How to set a reminder that carries its context

  1. Send the thingForward the message, paste the link, or type the detail into your Stashy chat on WhatsApp or Telegram. Stashy saves it and confirms.
  2. Say when, right afterReply with the time: “remind me on the 20th about this” or “nudge me in two weeks”. If the item had a due date, just answer yes to the reminder Stashy offers. Either way the reminder is linked to what you just sent.
  3. Act from the reminderWhen it arrives, the reminder carries the memory’s title. Ask for the original in the same chat if you need the number, the file, or the full message.

Common questions

Does Stashy set reminders automatically when I save something?

No. Reminders are always something you ask for. When you save something with a due date in it, Stashy asks “Want me to remind you?”, and nothing is scheduled until you say yes or give a time.

How soon after saving do I need to set the reminder for it to link?

Within a few minutes, in the same chat. Stashy links the reminder to the most recent thing you saved, so send the item first and the time second.

Does the reminder include the file or screenshot itself?

The reminder carries the title of the memory it is linked to, for example “about: Acme invoice, ₹4,800”, so you know what it is without opening anything. Files are never resent in reminders. Ask Stashy for the file in the same chat and it finds it.

What if I forget to set the reminder right away?

The link is made when the reminder follows the save within a few minutes in the same chat. If more time has passed, forward the thing again and then say when, and the reminder attaches to that fresh copy.

Which channels support these reminders?

WhatsApp and Telegram. The reminder is delivered on the channel you set it on. On Founding access, the memory it links to is shared across both channels.

Is it free?

You can start free with no card: 30 memories, 15 recalls, and 10 reminders (5 active at a time) on one channel. Founding access is $4.99 a month for unlimited text memories, natural-language recall, contextual reminders, and one shared memory across WhatsApp and Telegram.
