Memorae alternative

A Memorae alternative that does less, on purpose.

Memorae wants to be the memory layer above all your apps: reminders, lists, calendars, email drafting, a dashboard, and a thousand integrations. Stashy is one chat that keeps what you send, finds it when you ask, and reminds you with the details. If the thousand integrations are why you are looking elsewhere, this page is for you.

What the difference feels like

Quick reminder: dental appointment tomorrow — about: Appointment Thu 18 Sept, 4:30pm, Room 3.

Where Memorae is the better choice

If you want one assistant to add events to Google Calendar, draft replies to your inbox, keep shared lists with family, and hand you a daily briefing, Memorae is built for that and Stashy is not. Its feature list is long because it is meant to be an operating layer, and its higher tiers are priced for people who will use most of it.

Memorae also runs in more places: a native app, a Chrome extension, email, and a web dashboard alongside WhatsApp and Telegram. If you want a screen to manage your memory from, it has one.

Where Stashy is the better choice

Stashy is for the person who read that list and felt tired. There is no dashboard, no lists to keep, no task tracker to fall behind on. You forward the thing, and later you ask for it or get reminded about it. The whole product fits in one chat, which is why people who tried it called the chat “the app”.

The reminder is the sharpest difference. Stashy links a reminder to the message or file you just sent, and the reminder arrives with that memory’s title. A bare “dentist tomorrow” is not the same as a reminder that carries the time and the room.

It is also cheaper to start and cheaper to keep. There is a free tier with no card, and one paid plan at $4.99 a month rather than three tiers to choose between.

Switching from Memorae

There is no import. Forward the things you still care about to Stashy over a week as they come up, starting with anything that has a date in it. Stashy offers a reminder for bills, deadlines, and bookings as you save them, so the switch mostly happens by answering yes.

How to try Stashy as a Memorae alternative

  1. Open a chat with StashyTap Try on WhatsApp or Try on Telegram. There is no account form; the chat is the sign-up.
  2. Forward three things you would hate to loseA message with a date in it, a link, and a screenshot. Stashy saves each one and offers a reminder when there is a date.
  3. Ask for one of them tomorrowType what you remember about it in plain words. If Stashy finds it, you have your answer about whether it fits.

Common questions

Is Stashy a Memorae clone?

No. Memorae is an assistant that acts across your calendar, email, and tasks. Stashy is narrower: it keeps what you send it, finds it when you ask, and reminds you with the context. If you want the wider assistant, Memorae is the better fit.

Does Stashy connect to Google Calendar or email?

No. Stashy has no integrations today. It lives in WhatsApp and Telegram and works with what you send it. Access for AI tools via MCP is coming.

Can Stashy remind other people, like Memorae’s friend-to-friend reminders?

No. Stashy reminds you, and only you. It never messages anyone on your behalf.

Does a Stashy reminder include the file or screenshot itself?

The reminder carries the title of the memory it is linked to, for example “about: Acme invoice, ₹4,800”. Files are never resent in reminders. Ask Stashy for the file in the same chat and it finds it.

Can I use Stashy on both WhatsApp and Telegram?

Yes. The free plan uses one channel. Founding access shares one memory across both, so something saved in Telegram can be asked for in WhatsApp.

What does Stashy cost?

You can start free with no card: 30 memories, 15 recalls, and 10 reminders (5 active at a time) on one channel. Founding access is $4.99 a month for unlimited text memories, natural-language recall, contextual reminders, and one shared memory across WhatsApp and Telegram.

Try the narrower one.
