Why the self-chat stops working
It has every strength of WhatsApp: it is already open, it syncs to your laptop, and sending yourself a receipt takes two seconds. It also has every weakness of a single chat. Things pile up in the order they arrived, search needs the exact word, and the star you meant to add is the step you skipped.
WhatsApp’s newer “Remind me” helps with one case: nudging you about a message a few hours later. It cannot remind you on the 28th about an invoice due on the 30th, and it does not repeat.
What Stashy does with the same message

How is this different from WhatsApp’s own “Remind me”?
WhatsApp’s Remind me resurfaces a message after a short delay you pick from a menu, and it does not repeat. Stashy sets a reminder for any date in plain language, links it to what you just sent, and delivers it with that memory’s title.
